After the hunt cup today and the first three all drawn very high, the first dozen all drawn in double figures, we can discount over 2/3rds of the field. Less studying tonight.

cant trust them midgets tho.
last race they come down centre & trap 1 wins despite clear evidence that a stands side run would have been more favourable.

think it all depends where the senior jocks decide to go

maybe but pre race you discuss tactics with owner /trainer & I cant envisage anyone with a brain wanting to race down the middle.

only drizzle this evening.....Thursday night & Friday could be interesting though. With 30 runners some must come up the stands rail tomorrow though, I'll take my chance.

trev has a maiden ever won the Britannia?

One thing for certain is that Robinson will go where he should.

doubt it trusty...but some of his 7f form last yr...is pretty impresive...looking like he needed a mile.

the 2 runs this season scream of a plot to me...doubt he would stay 1m2f..let alone 1m4f...

think they might have hoped for another couple of lbs off....but the draw probably makes up for that.

clive & robbo shrewd as fukk both of em....and sure they have spent the winter plotting a few of these for this yr.

thought i was MAD when I looked through earlier and saw the two runs this year - definite plot material. Shame it is 50 on the books and only 55 on here, was hoping for some 100+ when I first looked.

will leave something in higher up as still worried he might not know how to win!

no maiden in the last 10 years (can't be arsed to go back further) but meets other criteria: 2 runs, rated 90-97,racing weight and reasonable draw. I can't see the rain making the far rail faster when it is already slower but I guess you never know.

Sagramor, Dream Achieved & Captain Bertie (middle/low draw?) meet all the criteria but are priced accordingly.

every winner for last 10 yr had run at newmarket(well thought of) ,southern based trainer and won 1 or 2 races,or 87-93(dismiss top 5 and bottom 5).last yrs winner has plotted the same route with one of his entries.

think u can dismiss all rated below 90 as only one winner in last 10 yrs and above 97, also weight between 8-10 & 8-13 still leaves both his runners and 10 to pick from. Have mentioned them both below.

Don't like more than 3 runs this year so that takes out three more, no maiden so that takes out 2 more (although Madawi has been well backed all morning) so the winner is Sagramor, Bahceli, Dream Achieved, Chain Lightning or Captain Bertie and the only two to have run at Newmarket are Dream Achieved & Bahceli.
