& intrigued that it is now declared to run in a few days time & the price has come down significantly for the 2nd time in 10 days. Trainer may have an ace up his sleeve. Remember last year's 2nd & Dylan Thomas going off at huge prices |

Apache a beautiful looking fellow bestmate, and superbly bred by Galileo out of a Darshaan mare. Agree with you that he reminds us of Age Of Aquarius, another one he reminds me of massively is Acapulco who was also an absolute stunner in the parade ring.
He's done well in his two starts to date but ideally he needs a step up in trip. Ryan Moore takes over on Sunday and once again Apache will come on for the experience. Epsom or Royal Ascot I'm not so sure and I don't think they are certain either at this stage. Sunday will be the deciding factor and if he wins then indeed you might well see him take his place in the line up in Epsom. Either way my friend he's a colt with massive potential. |

I can't have Apache as being top class. At least not this season anyway. On a line through Best Hello he is miles behind Recital. Whilst Apache is entitled to improvement after that run it is still concering. Best Hello cost very little and beat Apache the first time it had ever seen a racecourse, it is entitled to improve as much if not more than Apache. Neither look to be top draw to me.
Best Hello runs in the Group3 at 2.40 and I think he is a fair bet today. This should be around his level IMO. |

I was really impressed with his maiden win. I'm surprised they're running him in the handicap today as I thought they'd go for the King Edward VII with him, he looks just about that level and looking at the field for that on Friday, on paper it doesn't look a hot race. With his jockey's allowance today he's going to be difficult to beat.

money for him too, another ballydoyle gamble?

Does seem to be a lot of money for him.
Nick Mordin was all over him after his Maiden victory so we will wait and see. |
