Zoowraa is by no means certain to run in the 1000 Guineas.  Before White Moonstone's withdrawal from the race Zoowraa was considered more likely to run in the French Guineas.  She has yet to race on ground faster than yielding and they may not want to run her on a fast surface at this stage of her career.  We'll know soon enough.

Casamento was 2nd string and no certain runner either until Dubai Prince got injured.

i understand both might be afterthoughts to an extent, but that's not to say they won't run well.

as for zoowraa, i've watched the videos of her two wins - there's no obvious sign of knee action and she's not that big. in any case, there are showers around from thurday onwards.

casamento still not sure to run, but al zarooni was hinting on ruk this afternoon that he will. saying guineas is good derby trial. i'm less keen on him, of the two, but he thrashed native khan last year and is closely matched with pathfork.

but the point is, i reckon they'll be more than tempted to let them both have a go seeing as the string are clearly so well forward, and they both have smart form.

I don't rate the Radley Stakes form, to be honest.  It's always been a poor guide to the Guineas (the only smart filly to have won the Radley in recent times was Sil Sila, who went on to win the Prix de Diane about 15 years ago) and I don't think Zoowraa beat much apart from a few maiden winners.  The fourth Face Reality was beaten even further by Blue Bunting next time out.  Zoowraa is obviously a very promising filly but she doesn't strike me as a likely Guineas winner.  But, as you say, the stable is in great form so they may be tempted to let her take her chance at HQ.

fair enough, good post jamesp.

as you've acknowledged, just think it worth them both being allowed their chance judging by general forwardness of the stable's horses.

Casamento was as big as 140s on here, only about 10 days
ago or so.Too big a price for a serious 2000g contender
from a big yard,if that was the case.Defo seems like an
after thought to me.Think he was being aimed at the Derby
tbh.
