Can anyone tell me via any interviews or stable tours of gosdens the latest plans for this filly, not sure if the gosden stable tour has been in the post yet as ive been on holiday.

Very keen on her for the Oaks, breed to stay the trip well and as many know JG was very keen on her last season and thought she d win the fillies mile prior to a setback, she is held in the highest regard and i can see her winning the pretty polly, chester Oaks trial or Musidora...def the main danger to havant imo.25-1 is huge.

good luck all.

Why is 25/1 huge ? We know very little about her ability other than what JG tells us so it's guesswork like many of the other fillies at this stage, imvho.

She may well be top class in the making but we dont really have much to go on for the moment.

in that case please tell me which horses form your fully aware of ! its that time of year where 95% of the horses for the oaks/derby are unknown or unexposed.........im taking 25-1 on the belief that she is better then that price, thats my business and it works for me.

The likes of Havant at 6-1, world domination at 8-1 ( who until sat was not even considered the yards no.1 derby horse and im not referring to frankel either ) carlton house 12-1, seville 14-1 etc etc are all more or less maiden winners or clearly unexposed at half the price !!

Each to there own and all the best but i do very nicely and as with when i put Sprinter sacre up at 25-1 in nov when also unexposed for the supreme its what the eye tells you, plus the knowledge of what certain trainers think of the horse which im lucky enough to be privy to on certain occasions.

All the best

Morning Charm has reportedly wintered well and progressed: she is "a big, strong filly", according to James Wigan (racing manager to owner George Strawbridge).  Two or three weeks ago James Wigan said that the filly was likely to run soon ("maybe at the Craven or Greenham meeting").  Well, she missed the Craven and Greenham meetings and she has just been taken out of the Guineas, so I imagine they will start her off in an Oaks trial soon.

'Seville more or less a maiden winner' [smiley:crazy]

Pretty Polly on Guineas day would seem like a suitable starting point, ground permitting

No offence intended, Istabrag.

I agree there are some shocking prices out there, World Dominaion being one of them, and everyone is feling there way at the moment.

The one I like for the Oaks is Elas Diamond.

maybe you were right first time with istabrag ! ahahahah

Yes, i also like elas diamond. Its interesting today to hear concern from stoute of havant and quick ground saying she may well need cut, with the weather were having im not sure she s one to be on at newmarket or coming down the hill at epsom thats for sure....as always time will tell all.

agree with you istabraq, 25s great price which is why beginning of the year i took that for the oaks and also 25s for domination and also a nice lil double too, although double is unlikely,it will ensure a nice summer for ones self!

I am amzed anyone backed Havant for Guineas to be perfectly honest. We knew her form was on Soft ground and Guineas ground is more often than not proper Good to Firm. Ghannaati broke the track record a couple of seasons ago it was that quick.

Jess Harrington has just confirmed Sirens Song goes for the English Oaks, and interestingly she has taken her out of the Blue Wind stakes, so possibly going straight there ? I've had a few quid on a 25/1 as i've not backed Elas Diamond yet, want to see her run first.

Should say, backed Havant at the prices available, given the unknown. But she may well handle it.

A couple on here interested in Elas Diamond and genuinely interested to know why that is?

Had a look back at the race in October at Newmarket and Blue Bunting seemed to beat her fair and square, and it appeared that she was puling out more at the end of the mile. She is generally a bigger price as well.

Really not having a pop, but what is it that I am missing?
