Agree, obviously I am going to defend myself against false accusations it isnt me that starts these. Think there are active attempts going on to destroy early threads individuals may be proven wrong on (especially re Frankel) with a preference from them to try and start new ones up in their place.

If Betfair agree to my request for a new button to allow you to block certain posters who always react badly to your own posts from reading them then they will have nothing to respond to and the problem will disappear.
|
|
By:
The problem with your proposed soultion is that people can read the forums without logging in therefore Betfair won't be able to stop people reading your posts no matter what you come up with.
I can only think of one guaranteed way to make 'the problem disappear'[;)] |

theres a block button eric, use it u annoying cannt

Just ignore the guy. I blocked him and can't see his posts. It's better. The grown men who argue with him are no better, and possibly even worse. They're all being strung along by someone who is probably still a teenager.

Graeme83 can't resist yet another dig on a thread trying to sort the problem.
People will soon tire of having to log out to read posts then log back in to throw an insult. The current block function is similar in this respect it would be excellent if the likes of uncle puncle can't read then respond to my posts without being inconvenienced having to log out then in to do so. I won't be disappearing you will be first. |
|
By:
Agree Graeme.
It shortens the threads to a considerable degree! |
|
By:
What's the problem? If you don't agree with any other poster then just move to the next post none of you are duty bound to read anything on these forums,it is a public forum after all and eric morris has a much right as the next man on these forums to post what he likes.

It's the nature of internet message boards that if someone posts nonsense it's going to get challenged. And if someone posts nonsense a lot there are going to be a lot of challenges.

I think Erics repsonse to Graeme83's post says it all.
Graeme is actually agreeing with the OP and therefore Eric, by saying that it's all getting tiresome and we should all block each other. Eric for some reason then feels compelled to write a great big reply slagging Graeme off ![]() |

Wrong. The nature of betting internet forums is that anyone who is good will show up those who arent over time unintentionally but this will stir up negative emotions in the majority who will be less successful than the minority and then try to deny the success of the minority in extreme cases accusing them of being false and trying to defame their character. There will generally be ringleaders involved in this who will typically be the least successful and most threatened by the successful minority therefore seek to stir more emotion against the minority. This will be successful as the reason the majority are unsuccessful is because they are easily led by others and cannot form reaoned opinion against the crowd on their own, perhaps due to not devoting enough effort to it or lack of knowledge in the subject area.
This will all lead to the minority defending themselves which will be ineffective as the majority will believe the majority view. The successful minority will therefore decide to put up with the majority or move on. To put up with them and defend themselves they are also the most likely to be effective at r1pping the p1ss out of the majority unless given a Block button to stop the minority within the majority trying to stir up trouble against the more successful minority. Bring it on. |

Prima Donna I have great respect for on here .. I proved him wrong re St Nick the Guineas and he proved me wrong Steinbeck's fragility the Guineas.
If there were more posters of his quality on here there wouldnt be problems. |

He didnt react like a child.

By:
eric, you do have friends on Betfair! Sometimes we are right sometimes we are wrong, so what? If there wasn't the risk of being proved wrong then no-one would have an opinion at all.

Agree there absolutely Prima Donna ...

lol Prima, you've obviously not been around lately.

Priceless - a thread about how futile and ultimately tedious all the threads that involve arguing with Eric are, and after saying he agrees, he then manages to turn this into one as well - you couldn't make it up (well maybe Eric could

Great stuff lads. Keep the bitching to this thread and stay off the others please, particularly the 1000 Guineas thread which was an excellent read and has now turned into a playground brawl

There have been great threads trashed prior to this by stalkers gangleader sintonian, uncle puncle, ilikewavingatbuses, jair1970, zilzal1 and 'gang'. This doesnt just apply to your beloved thread bornis.
Have a word with them to stop this or ask Betfair for a new Block Reading button which a user will be able to use to prevent troublemakers/stalkers from Reading your own posts which will over time due to the inconvenience of logging out to read them then logging back in to throw their purposefully thread destroying posts, make them lose interest in doing this. It will make the forum a much better place where people can mutually discuss things as you would in life and avoid the troublemakers. |

why would i want to have a word with betfair?hardly gonna listen to a mere mortal like me,just a shame i thought that the AP forum (which along with the boxing forum) is the best on here didn't need all this shyte, but whatever floats your boat eric. This is the last i have to say on the matter.

Read the other thread the idiots started with my username and in particular my last post on it. You need to complain to them about stalking around destroying threads and to request this new button. I am good at antepost and as in my post above re individuals and crowds there are always going to be those who will be upset about that and act like children. You and other posters need to tell them to stop ruining threads.

From Eswarah to Captain Chris always enjoy reading your posts myself,it ever confirms what I believe or gives me a different angle to think about, keep up the good work Eric

Eric
why can't you and your buddies keep the childish , boring, boorish, and empty headed arguments on this thread and let others not have their lives polluted by the cretinous yah boo shytt you and they seem to specialise in? |
|
By:
cryoftruth ... surely you have read the above. I do not start these spats so why would I want to confine it to a single thread? I just go on threads posting my insight ... followed closely by them trouble-making. They are the troublemakers complain to them to stop it or quit your whinging. Address the problem in the correct way. A button sto Block Reading of your own posts from others would otherwise do the trick.

Replies: 2963 20 Apr 11 20:23 As you rightly point out I won a lot on Nadal last year .. and will this also. My mathematical methods in tennis would make your a-b=c arbing equation look like a nursery school mug. eric_morris Joined: 27 Jun 10 Replies: 2562 23 Jul 10 11:54 Think ben10 might have been the only contributor on the thread that caused kirk's demise. Kirk should have kissed ass kept stum like Post reporters on issues and he would keep everyone happy. He did go strongly against St Nick on a stupidly long thread on here and was strong on Steinbeck in singles and doubles then Canford Cliffs in a big treble with Big Bucks 3s, Kauto 7/4. Steinbeck won't be any good over trips further than a mile IMO though I believe he had/has potential turns out his injuries may have affected his career and in that respect prima Donna was right. As for Kirk wouldn't be surprised if he is on here claiming he won k's on Nadal at Wimbledon or something else made up. ok ok ok ok ok ok ok, so let me get this straight, eric wouldnt be surprised if eric(kirk) claimed he won thousands on nadal 'or something else made up?' ![]() good grief. would u care to explain this post eric ta |

never saw this thread until now. i rarely read let alone post on the antepost forum mainly because it seems to be the eric morris show, where he trys to convince everyone that hes the greatest punter of all time, claiming to have large bets at large prices on almost all winners of big races. there arent many on here who take any notice of his boring ramblings of shoite but its annoying nonetheless. i actually feel sorry for the guy, if he gets a kick out of trying to aftertime about his great bets then i think he needs to take a good look at himself

Dont be fooled by revedesivola, if he doesnt post on here often he spends most of that time stalking me with his 'buddies'.
The need for the button above to Block Reading is obvious with poor antepost punters stalking those who are any good on here. Anyway best thing is now the Classics are virtually over and only a Derby book left this season these idiots can be left to themselves to bore everyone on here. Whether decent posters with decent insight stay on here is up to the forum providers re the aforementioned button. The future of the forum looks bleak without this new feature and could see those with the better antepost experience and knowledge setting up their own forums leaving Betfair customers who rarely post to read the cr@p on here from the rest. |

The need for the button above to Block Reading is obvious with poor antepost punters stalking those who are any good on here Your rants on here re Frankel & Derby even after the GNS hardly put you in the any good category. Despite all the evidence to the eyes you fail to see past your ante post punt in the arrogant belief that you are right . FFS you even thought he would be going for the Dante. Dream on |

Maybe grown adults on here need to ask themselves why they argue with the boy all the time. There isn't something quite right with grown men who argue with youngsters on a computer. If you argued with someone of Erics(binned) age outside, and they annoyed you or made a comment, would you follow them home, argue with them and walk in to the guys house and stalk them all the time ?...anyway that's my final take on it. People who argue with him all the time can join him in the bin. I'm well aware nobody cares if i bin them. I'd rather not all the same.
