doubts now about a lot of the fancied runners, casamento, saammid,wotten bassett,zoffany,fury, reckon frankel could be 2/5 fav in a small field if convincing saturday

Would expect Pathfork, Roderic and Dubai Prince to give him a race EJ. Fair play at this stage he is the best horse in the race but I doubt it will be the cakewalk that his odds suggest.

I remember Brigadier Gerard Mill Reef and My Swallow scaring away all the opposition but that is unlikely as Frankel is a mile ahead of everything.
The more of those you mention EJ that don't run the more chance of those with inferior horses are likely to run in the hope they get placed and add to their shed value. Can't see us ever having 6 runners again for the 2000 guineas for that reason |
