I doubt there's anything sinister or untoward in the price fluctuation. There has been no positive move for any of the other O'Brien fillies. The layers have started to get serious and have pushed out a number of horses: Misty For Me, White Moonstone, Hooray, Laughing Lashes, Moonlight Cloud, Cape Dollar etc. The ones that are currently holding up best are Havant, Helleborine, Memory, I Love Me.

Yes maybe waiting on a confirmation for the Guineas rather than missing it for the Oaks.

I think it's just a decrease by default. They're going to decrease Helleborine, so obviously she beat this horse last season. A gust of wind will shorten something else shortly.

Have read information which suggests all is not well with Misty For Me.

What's the source of your information please SK? Otherwise we should dismiss this as mere rumour.

Yes SK please lets us know .. it's no good posting comments like that without in someway trying to verify it .. thanks ..

fwiw ... I read a report on SL last week from someone who watches the gallops at HQ and he said the gamble on Havant was more to do with her completing her first work out of the season, and showing her wellbeing, rather than her pulling up trees etc.

My own personal opinion on Misty for me is she will not run at Newmarket....has been no support at all for her even last year after she won dual Group 1's. I think they be aiming at a Oaks trial, the Musidora is it at York?...fits in nicely to a middle distance campaign. Mind you i not sure she train on

She doesnt have the toe for Newmarket imo. Stayed on to beat Helleborine who also lacks toe but there will be speed merchants with a lasting kick to beat her in the Guineas.
