Hawkwing,
I'm very keen on her as well. Was running a belter at Cheltenham in November before blowing up. Form of race has worked out very well. Travelled like second best horse in that race. Trainer has mentioned that he feels she needs it soft but I'm not sure she needs it that soft and you can be sure the ground at Aintree on 9th will be safe. I hope she goes for it; travels, jumps and stays very well. Hopefully Andrew McNamara will be on board. I just have a bad feeling she will wait for Irish National. Will be very pleased to be wrong. |

With Easter being later this year the Irish National is not until 25th April (20 days later than last year) they might not want to risk quicker ground at Fairyhouse. The mare has won on 5th April in 2009 and 5th April 2010, whats odds fot the 9th April 2011? (well... 60's or so on here....).
Sentiment can be expensive but she did me a good turn last year and I'm happy to reinvest... |

Looks like I am wrong. She is defo going for the Grand National and Andrew McNamara is going to ride.
Trainer quoted as saying she is in very good form. Much needed wet weather on the way in the 2nd half of this week and plenty of it per Countryfile. Lets hope the scousers need their umbrellas a lot over the next couple of weeks! |

Ebony Jane, Auntie Dot, and Dubacilla all placed in the 90's are the closest of recent years.
