Hi guys,

trying to get some ideas for a Grand National Sweepstake and related bets. It is my fathers 60th birthday and we are having a surprise party with around 40 people on the Saturday. Obviously a simple sweepstake is an easy starting point whereby we pull names out of a hat at £5 a ticket, but I wondered if anyone had any more novel extra ideas.

E.g. I was thinking if your horse falls you have to pay £2 into the pot which is a bonus fund for the winner. Or do a forfeit etc?

Does anyone have any other ideas.

Cheers,

PB

We pay out on the winner and the last finisher. Gives those without the best horses something to hold onto as you wait for everything to cross the line

Give everyone a chance and pay out on the first faller.  Well exciting going to the first. If 4 fallers, then 25% each. Simples
