would love to see it

I presume BB will go for the longer race at Liverpool; however Peddlers Cross should take on Quevega, and there may be a chance of Binocular trying 2 and a half miles given the easy track. A potentially mouth watering clash.

How would we price up Binocular v Peddlers v Quevega over 2m4f at Aintree?

By:
Quevega waits for Punchestown ..

Send Bucksy over there then

if Mullins thought she stood a chance surley he would have put her in the race rather than Mourad,543?
Big Buck's would wipe his d1ck on the curtains on the way out. FACXT |

Mares Hurdle is an easy target though sint? Don't think Mourad and 543 can run in that
![]() She'd have it all to do no doubt, and its hard to see her winning, but what else is there now than can take him on? It's clear she's a top class beast, and should be pitted against the best |
|
By:
Check out her World Series Hurdle at Punchestown. You would have won a right few quid following the horses she beat. Interesting that she beat mourad by 4.5l, the same distance as big bucks beat him by, but she would receive an extra 3lbs from mourad at chelt. Obviously mourad has improved, but she looked pretty incredible on Tuesday.

|
By:
I think she'd give him a hell of a race and I'd back her.
|
|
By:
if it was slowly run like today then she could beat him for a change of gear, but a truly run 3 miles BB would be able to stop and read the paper before kicking on at the finish, imo.

Mullins said after the mares race that aintree was on the cards for Quevega, in either race she'll get beat. Peddlers and BB will make mincemeat of her, Quevega top mare but not as good as these.

Why should it always be the Irish horse that has to travel to take on the English horse?
The Punchestown race is worth more than the Aintree race |
|
By:
the length of time between Aintree and Punchestown is at least the same as that between Cheltenham and Aintree - neither BB nor Quevega have been over-raced or over-exerted, no reason why both should n't take on both races imo.
|
|
By:
Never mind Quevega going to Aintree. If Big Bucks is the best then he should come over and win the 3M title in Ireland. It's worth more than the Aintree race. Come on Nicholls, make it happen. I would give Quevega a decent shout
|
|
By:
Big Bucks would trash her by 2 lengths like he has thrashed everyone else.
Any talk about lengths re: Big Bucks are IMV irrelevant. |

I must be on a different planet from some of you guys. I thought WM said Quevega might go for the Aintree Hurdle but then made it clear she won't be going?
Binocular V Peddler's Cross should be fascinating to watch and the mare need not bother turn up even if WM has a change of heart. If it had been at Chelters I'd slightly favour PB but round Aintree I'm in Binocular's camp as the course really suits him. If he does beat PC he'll go chasing next season IMO and there will be some serious debating between now and next March which horse between Hurricane Fly and Binocular will take the crown. As for Big Buck's is Grand Crus going to Aintree? or is it going to be a BB charity day? |

Willie said she is 20lbs below HF

She is a grade 1 horse and evens at Chelts was probably the bet of the year, but there are grade 1 horses and there are grade 1 horses. She is the third best staying hurdler in training though.
|
|
By:
she beat mourad by the same distance as BB beat him and with the same amount of ease. hard to split her and grand crus imo.
|
|
By:
ya not much in it, might come down to ground now I think of it.
|
|
By:
ah like id expect bb to win alright but shes a force at 3 miles, i wouldnt be quick tp lump on grand crus in the w/o market thats all, he'd prob beat her but u wouldnt know!
