he seems to like flat tracks,as hes won at doncaster carried 11-12 i think when he won that day at donny,over 3miles,he looked like he could have went around again, with about 10-12 on his back at aintree i see hes got the class to ly up, his jumping is fine,hes a big horse ran 6th in last seasons gold cup,on softish ground they've said in early dec that the grand national was his target,i think he'll arrive there a fresh horse worth a small punt |

I think Calgary Bay has no chance whatsoever of staying the trip. I also think he's a big soft boat who lacks the guts for the race.

Me neither, I backed him months ago for a few quid, flat tracks suit him, big strong horse, jumps well, fairly handicapped and looking at the way he won at donny last year think he'll stay on good ground. If it's soft, forget it.

cruising all over kauto @ the top of the hill in gold cup last year.
With others on decent ground has a shout on soft not a prayer of getting home. |
