Good weight but will its jumping hold up to the Aintree fences. I also feel the stamina test will suit but just wondered if anyone else had Calgary Bay in mind.....or anyone putting a line through it (reasons why??)

have €16 on @ 170
he seems to like flat tracks,as hes won at doncaster
carried 11-12 i think when he won that day at donny, over 3miles,he looked like he could have went around again,
with about 10-12 on his back at aintree i see hes got the class to ly up,
his jumping is fine, hes a big horse
ran 6th in last seasons gold cup,on softish ground

they've said in early dec that the grand national was his target,i think he'll arrive there a fresh horse
worth a small punt

I think Calgary Bay has no chance whatsoever of staying the trip. I also think he's a big soft boat who lacks the guts for the race.

I could be wrong of course.Mischief

Me neither, I backed him months ago for a few quid, flat tracks suit him, big strong horse, jumps well, fairly handicapped and looking at the way he won at donny last year think he'll stay on good ground. If it's soft, forget it.
