It's normally tough for horses that win the race he did at Chelts the following season but I thought he'd improve again for the step up to 3miles this season. I know he had a "slight" problem in the Autumn but can anyone update me on the well being of this horse?

Be interesting to see how he fares, apparantly he had a wind op in the summer.

Yeah. Clearly they are hoping this is a stepping stone to something bigger, I really rate this horse.

Does anyone have any thoughts on where they might aim him?

Not entered in anything at the festival, but hcp entries still to come. Or something at Aintree? Hurdles / Chases?

Festival Plate maybe?

Plate or William Hill Trophy.

I think the horse has improvement in him for the step to 3 miles and the latter could be the right race to go in. We'll find out soon. It may be the plate first and then a step up in trip on a flatter track.

The other Hobbs runner is now a non runner. Maybe see a jockey change later on.

Not sure about soft grounf first time back after a long lay off and a breathing op though. Will be interesting to see what he looks like in the paddock.

Just the one entry at the festival then. Someone had £7 available tonight at 55's, couldn't resist  Grin
