Anybody know what the plans are for this one? Did he get injured or something in the Betfair? Think he's a lively option for Irish Hennessy and Aintree myself but could be hard to find a race for him at Cheltenham.
WHAT A FRIEND, who was unable to defend his Lexus Chase crown in December due to unsuitable ground, was on Thursday one of three Paul Nicholls-trained entries revealed for the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown on February 6.
What A Friend joined stablemates Neptune Collonges and Pride Of Dulcote in the 18-strong line up for the Grade 1, but two of the trio could be heading for other engagements. Nicholls told the Racing Post in Thursday's Pricewise Gold Cup feature that the Aon Chase could be What A Friend's next target and that the Argento Chase at Cheltenham at the end of this month could be the next race for Neptune Collonges.
However, Pride Of Dulcote is booked to represent Britain's champion trainer in the 3m event.

What about the Grand National for What a Friend. Rated the same as Black Apalachi but surely a much better horse. Stays, the ground should be suitable and this horse has class. Not good enough to win a Gold Cup but the right sort for Aintree.
