of course you get your money back

Galant Nuit is, however, out of the race with a bruised heel, so in the, admittedly unlikely event, of it being on, you will lose your money.

By:
no he gets his money back
By:
sorry ..i see you said if it was on...

would the same apply to any imperial commandernkg bets?
By:
If the meeting is abandoned and not run within, I think, 3 days of the original time, all AP bets will be void whether they were declared or not
By:
If its run next week and not reopened all bets stand. I don't think there is a time limit, it's all about whether the race is reopened to all horses in traning.

The thaw starts on Monday so why can't they run it on Wednesday?
By:
the race must be run on the same track and im fairly sure it must be within 7 days of origional date the fact that a horse had already been withdrawn is irrelavent

Ok thanks to all for your help. Been in racing 16 years - never had this before.
Backed 4 for it - Galant Nuit, Any Currency, Dance Island and Maktu so down to two, or if abandoned, wait and see what I get back I suppose. |

latest, all ante post bets carried forward to jan 8th betfair ante post market also carried forward as the race is being run at the same course and within 14 days unfortunately any bets struck on galant nuit or any other non runners will be classed as losing bets as long as the race goes ahead on that day

If The race is Reopened you will deffo get money back 100% - not sure of any other rules.....
By:
backed synchronised at 14's and dance island at 33's so preying that i dont get my money back.
if it is run at chepstow on 8th jan this will be at the same course but 12 days letter so assume all ante post bets stand??? |
By:
yes only danger is if race is reopened but cant see that happening
By:
cheers. just been reading james stan and power paddy t@c's.
all ante post bets will stand if run at same course at a later date which is good news. |
By:
Coral have confirmed that all entries are carried forward and it won't be reopened. All bets stand which is great news unless you've backed Notre Pere or Galant Nuit.

or any currency...
but tbf...i'd rather it stands...with some of my other bets.. |

What if you've backed Dance Island ante post for the WN, but because of the postponement the connections decide to run it in the P Power on 29/12 instead. Does that, in effect, make Dance Island a nr for the WN if it doesn't take up that engagement?
By:
yes
By:
harvey...would'nt throw any tickets away though...
the irish racing could still bite the dust.. and any with double engagements...could still fall early and end up running in both. |

Excuse me - I wonder if anyone can help on this query.
My bet appears to have disappeared on Betfair. It has not been returned to my purse yet the horse remains entered. I bet on Poker de Sivola at 55/1 for the Welsh National. He remains entered at time of posting; though not quoted on betfair. Just to quote boywonder: "latest, all ante post bets carried forward to jan 8th betfair ante post market also carried forward as the race is being run at the same course and within 14 days unfortunately any bets struck on galant nuit or any other non runners will be classed as losing bets as long as the race goes ahead on that day" So can someone explain where my money/bet has gone please? I am a relative newcomer to racing so apologies if this is a simple question and I have overlooked it. Some of you may like to have a look at my blog btw: http://www.lovetheraces.com/voices-of-the-races/eliza/?voice_tab=blog |

Thanks Boy Wonder - but in this case why is he still in the entries on the Racing Post website and still quoted by some bookmakers at 20/1? Just checked it mid day Jan 3rd
