Any news on this? If it turns up, it must have an outstanding chance of winning it again. It won it on soft ground in 08 off 152 (11-0p) by an easy 7L. It gets in this year off 149 so it must have a chance. It also has got some decent recent form when 5th to Hello Bud at Aintree in the Becher giving it 21lbs and before that when 2nd bt 4L to Glencove Marina giving her 3lb over 2.6f in the Thurles Chase. Best price 16s so fair enough price but is it being aimed at the race?

I have thrown a few quid at this one antepost too as you rightly point out he is running off a useful handicap mark here if he turns up. There is a negative though in that he will be carrying 11st 5lb provided Silver By Nature stays in here and that might be a big ask in the likely soft conditions.

Entered over hurdles at Navan on Sunday - weather permitting. Suggests its not likely to run a week later at Chepstow. All roads lead to Aintree Id say (handicap marks and all that...)

I thought the other Dreaper horse Telenor was of more interest. Granted he fell in the Irish National but he does look well handicapped on his Novice form and looks an out and out stayer. Notre Pere is potentially well in but is he as good as he was the year he won the race?. I personally think he is regressing and will struggle to get round.

Declared to run at Navan tomorrow. Agree betilyerded, wont run it next week after a spin over hurdles. Even if its off tomorrow, which it likely will be, if he was planing to run at Chepstow, then he must have been wanting to get it fitter hence the run over hurdles. No bet for me.

Is the main target not Aintree? If so i cant see him winning a chase before the weights are out.

Bigzeb - if Synchronised has had a setback why is it not on the drift? Dont post stuff like that if its not true or youre not prepared to substantiate it. Cant see Notre Pere going as the ground looks like it could be on the good side, believe it or not. Strange days,as Jim Morrison once sang

BZ, you cant go on a public forum and state a favourite for a big race is a NR and then follow it with ''wait and see''. It will sound like nonsense to everyone.
