It would be a concern if he ran well. Mon Mome won the 3m chase 2 years back, went off fav for welsh national and bombed. Likewise The T'otherone last year, running second, went off 2nd fav for WN and bombed too. Now if hes pulled up after a circuit - GET STUCK IN!!! Its a Jonjo horse after all.

Thanks for input - as i have been following Tom Segal(PW)- he has put up synchronised as 1 of his ante-post for the welsh national and already on at 14/1.

You reckon that lot (McManus/O'Neill) will let Syncronised win after being selected by PW?? You're having a laugh

That was a good run today frankie on ground that would have been a shade quick and trip on short side. Really caught the eye up the hill. If that hasnt taken the edge off him he should go well. 14-1 looking good imo.

Race AP wants to win missing from his collection, after winning Sports Personality the men in attendance may be giving him a great chance judging by the weight of money now.

Can't get it out of my head that the Midlands National Synchronised won was a strange race - downpour beforehand meant going was very soft and only three finished - Synchronised was exhausted at the end (McCoy dismounted).
Going might not be as soft as anticipated if latest forecast is right (can change admittedly). As you say, money down for Jonjo-AP animal is ominous though. |

Yes they have had some rain but avoided the snow, looks a good stayer and will be fine tuned for this.
