Any Irish posters know if this meeting is likely to go ahead on Saturday and whether it's due to warm up enogh over there by then?

Daytime temps are supposed to rise over the next few days- the problem is that that may not be enough to melt the snow and ice off the track. I'd say it was unlikely, myself.

IMO the chances are slim. This has been the COLDEST day of the winter so far. Temperatures never rose above Zero degrees all day. The snow is frozen solid.
We are expecting temperatures between mins 7 and 9 tonight. It won't rise above freezing till around noon tomorrow. That will leave only 48 hrs to the first race.
I live in the Dublin area about 20 miles from the track.
Maybe they could postpone it 48 hours and run it on Monday. That would only clash with an industry day down in Cork.
