Thought i'd put a thread up to discuss the racing this weekend providing it goes ahead obviously.

Thinking of a treble myself with 3 cracking races in the tingle creek, international and the handicap gold cup.

Somersby 8/1 Think its a good bet loves cheltenham wont blow up like we saw at Exeter.

Mad Max 10/1 cracking pull at the weights with the PP winner and will be much better for the race.

Silviniaco Conti 100/30 to show cue card and menorah how the french young guns do things.

So what do we all fancy then :)

good luck with your treble m8 but i think cue card will win imo he has too much tactical speed in which could be a slow run race with not many runners, mad max has a good e/w chance but was hammerd by little josh just cant see him reversing the form even with the weight difference but could run a place in a trapy race i like Robinson collonges he could b anything but little josh will be hard to beat,in the tingle creek id take on master mind with gauvain an somersby both got good e/w chances an wouldnt put anyone off backing either of them, lets pray its on but its been bout -3 all day ere in cheltenham m8 hope there right about it warming up thurs friday

Mentioned it last month and pretty confident I can say it again. Midnight chase is a cracking each way prospect  on Friday. Was concerned by the competition in his race last month but he ran them into the ground! See no reason why he won't do that again, if he doesn't win he'll come v close!  Love this horse and would love to see him go pillar to post again to line him up for an outsiders chance in the gold cup...wishful thinking!!!

One concern would be how dead the ground is given the covers. Anyone know how "good" the ground will be?

Another great card this weekend!

No, working Friday, and departmental Christmas night out, so won't be in much of a state Saturday!

What is Kalahari King's preferred option, Tomorrow or Sunday?

What a great day of racing today at HQ. Some really good performances, and a dya that could easily have slotted in as one of the Festival days today! Great performance by Menorah...I was very impressed. Beat two good horses in Silviniaco Conti and Cue Card, and showed hiself capable of winning smaller field races as well as acting in the hustle and bustle of large firld events. Will take some pegging back!

Should have mentioned his good record round Cheltenham too, which is also in his favour.
