Cheers Teddy, last time out was too bad to be true. He's was in great form at home and looked well but its the first time i've ever seen him as agitated as he was in the preliminary s. He clouted a few of the fences and that knocked stuffing outta him. The plan is the Durkan and its likely he'll have a different Jockey. He's never been better in his work but its a difficult to explain what happened last time...Larry said he'd improve for the run but thought he's be in the shakeup. Larry had his 1st winner so its a bang in form stables

cheers maybe it was nerves after such a long lay off? he looks overpriced if he can recapture the form at Navan last season. Whats Larrys training background if you dont mind me asking?

Ran a blinder, jumped well bar hitting the 2nd last but stayed on well and wasn't beaten more than 7L. Wd to Swinia and all concerned getting the horse back.

It was more like it big time. It was a slowly run race which doesn't suit him and unfortunately Andrew doesn't know the horse well enough to make more use of him. When Lynch got off he said turning for home he thought he'd a real chance of winning or at least placing but he said just before the 2nd last he gave an almighty heave and the 2nd last came upon him very quickly and he didn't get a chance to recover and made a horlix outta it, but it knocked the stuffing out of him and in what was effectively a sprint finish loosing momentum was crucial at that stage.Sometimes its hard to believe Jocks but if you look at the replay it seems plausible. Lynch said he'll expect him to improve more than anything else in the race, afterall it was only his second race (ignoring Down Royal)in 20 months.
Not sure what the plan is now, he's not entered in Lexus. Probably look at a grade 2 in Jan, the Normans Grove or something like that.
All told yesterday was encouraging and Lynch got him jumping and travelling again
