Think this one could be laid out for the race. He's a decent horse and a sound jumper so could be idealy suited to the test.
Has form over a trip and seems fairly treated, which looks even better with top notch A Heskin (won before with him) taking another 5lbs off.
Started out over hurdles this season and then ran over inadequate trip at Clonmel, looks like he's been primed for the race, with thoughts of the National further down the line. Irish have a good recent record in this 3/5.
Anyone any thoughts? I think 20/1 is a value price.
Aye, he stayed on strongly at the end, which bodes well for the longer National trip, should be trained for that now.
I watched him all the way round and he didn't look entirely comfortable at the fences, never really took a cut at them. Might be better after this experience though.

I shortlisted him for the National based primarily on his breeding, whilst he didn't look at ease over a couple of the fences I thought the run was still very promising. Just wish i'd taken some of the fancy prices when I started looking a couple of months back.
