Timos i think needs it very soft, however the track suits a real stayer, maybe more than the 1m4f conditions.
anyone have any opinions on Dandino?
I thought that he may have a chance, i know he didnt do to well in the leger ( possible ground didn't suit) but did have the leger winner "Arctic Cosmos" in behind at Goodwood earlier in the year
Obviously Snow Fairy is in with a shout on his win in Japan last weekend but i couldn't have the probable short price.
again your opinions are appreciated in advance

Joshua Tree's combination of stamina and turn of foot tells me he's perfect for this race, big chance if showing imo. Obviously the Arc second will have a big chance for the home team and also the filly Buena Vista.
Arctic Cosmos didn't handle the track at Goodwood, that's why he didn't win so don't use that as a reason for backing Dandino. I don't fancy him but these sort of races can throw up some odd results so good luck if you back him.

joshua tree is absolutely nowhere near good enough, but will at least beat dandino home (what a waste of time for that horse). conduit could only manage 4th last year.

Joshua Tree's improving all the time for me, has a style which suits this race. Conduit was going into that as an after thought (his big race was 3 week earlier), he had been sold to stand in Japan so they decided to go out there, he had a very bad draw too.

Joshua Tree is a group 2 horse running against top Japanese group 1 performers (not to mention a dual oaks winner in snow fairy) who will struggle to finish in the first 5 places. Nakayama Festa has an awesome turn of foot off the likely blisteringly fast pace that you are likely to get and will be hard to beat with a clear run.

Agree topweight, Joshua Tree has no chance...i didn't know the arc second was running.
I still think Dandino wasn't put into the Leger race, and he'll be carrying my money as a place bet.
I see Timos is entered, does anyone have an idea if it will run? Fallon rode it down the field in the Arc

Horses don't run to the same rating their whole career, particularly ones who lost most of their 3 year old career to injury. Not sure how anyone can't see the rate at which JT is improving, had his last race won a lot further out than the winning margin suggests.
Snow Fairy goes to Hong Kong over this in case anyone missed it.

Strange one....learnt a lot from this years japan cup ...leave it alone!, always looked at it every year and the pennies only just dropped.
One amusing thing did come out of it..Christophe Soumillion was apparently really loud coming into the winners enclosure as his usual self , waving his arms and throwing his whip into the crowd.....lol haaaaa, would have loved to seen his face when the claxon went and someone just robbed that hundred grand out of his pocket lol
