I haven't heard but would like him to go 3 miles as I've backed him for the Gold Cup and can see him being competitive if Denman and Kauto Star have blown out by then.

Ryannair imo,think that distance suits him better at Chelt.Might take in the KG on the way as flat track 3m would be ok for him.3m2f too far at Chelt for him i think.

Not a racing fan then booster? How could you possibly be willing that scenario?

In any event the pair of them would have to have blown out pretty badly to get beaten over 3m2f round Chelts by Albertas (much as I love the horse) not to mention Weapons Amnesty , Punchestowns, Joncol , Tranquil Sea , Neptunes Collonges, Imperia Commander  etc etc.

Ground is much more important to AR than trip - needs it good or can run a stone or more below his best

Of course,totally different horse on his going,and when he gets that over 2 and a half he is bl00dy hard to beat imo.Over 3m 2f at Chelt it wont matter what going imo,its too far for him to be at his best.

yeah its on saturday, interesting in that clash but im not sure how the ground will be

Realistic, Panto Prince. The job of a punter is to assess the likely scenario and bet when the odds are in his favour. Nowhere in my response did I say that I hoped they'd blow out but I thought they may do so.
