From 2/11 everyone was n/r no bet, you may have been paid because others were incompetent. Customer Services in some places are bollox though as all bets prior to 2/11 cant have any deduction.

ribotman, apparently lads paying out the 3rd ew on Behkabad?

Ribotman, i'm pretty sure that where they offer non runner no bet as a concession before the final declarations they still refer to it as an antepost bet but with the concession comes the RULE 4

thanks for replies,i spoke to supervisor and he confirmed non runner no bet carries a rule 4 on br cup races,so i have to accept it.
zilzal, the supervisor said ante -post finished at 1800hrs and my bet was at 2100hrs on 2/11 whereapon it became n/r no bet.i placed several bets on d midge that day and was paid with no rule 4 deducted.skybat stated on receipt it was ante post. pedrobob, that is relevent to my case as if they paid 3rd horse at n/r no bet odds they should have paid me. rowley, they SHOULD NOT refer to it as ante post if it is liable to rule 4.the 'concession' of n/r no bet is not a concession if liable to reductions.I was gambling on wether workforce would run or not and i also thought that even if he did run i could still collect. at the time of the bet,it was far from certain he'd be withdrawn and iwas prepared for either eventuality. this n/r no bet concession is a very dodgy area.when it is given for cheltenham fest.no deductions are applied for non runners. otherwise you may as well back at s.p. in summary.I have learned to in future scrutinise the conditions of a bet before placing it,thanks for replies, and it hasn't soured my memories of a great breeders cup. |

the 'concession' of n/r no bet is not a concession if liable to reductions
Of course it is a concession as you have a no risk bet before final declarations are made, you claim you were risking on whether workforce would run or not, it doesn't work like that, you cant expect in any situation in horse racing betting to have your stake refunded where your horse doesn't run and then have no reduction in your price where the short priced favourite doesn't run, when did a bookmaker ever offer a win/win situation to you before ??? |

I am 99% sure that when almost all bookies go nrnb the week before Cheltenham they don't make a rule 4 deduction on any of those bets if there are withdrawals.
Ladbrokes are the worst company in the country when it comes to fleecing punters and screwing racing[:x] |

^ there'es your answer rowley.

Significant withdrawals always subject to reduction imo anyway(n/r no bet pre final declarations). I won't have this argument anymore as i wish british and irsh bookmakers will continue to supposedly offer a win/win situation to their punters in the future. They will eventually see the punters' point of view. [smiley:crazy]

ur bet@21.00hrs was this after the draw was made and final decs if so r4 would apply as all horses would not have double entries at this stage unlike chelt festival it would be like normal 48hrs on flat
