I have just realised that there is no thread about this colt, which is a tad surprising given then manner of his victory at Nottingham last time.
He is a half brother to Linda's Lad who probably would have made a winning debut at Yarmouth but for greenness and also racing freely, looming up on the outside travelling strongly but then lacking the wherewithal to seal matters once asked for his effort 2f out, virtually clueless and ending up near enough in the middle of the track, not all given a hard time by Queally.
He looked a lot more professional (as you'd expect) when landing what appeared to be just a fair mile maiden on slow ground at Nottingham next time, but I like the way in which he once again travelled with real purpose throughout, moving through to lead a little over halfway, going well within himself and then pulling nicely clear of his stablemate Glencadam Gold, a subsequent winner who could be a very nice staying type next season, scoring by 6 lengths.
I know there is quite a way to go before this colt could be taken seriously as a Classic prospect, but he looks the sort to me who could go well go for that 10f conditions race at Newbury's trials meeting in April and then, all being well, on to the Lingfield Derby Trial (same path as Bullet Train this year) and try and repeat half brother Linda's Lad's achievements. It looks feasible route given his official rating is already 96.
Any thoughts on this colt?

Thought it was a cracking performance myself but worried he may need plenty of cut when stepped up in class
I personally only noticed him 2 months ago when checking oddschecker, the nottingham win was very impressive. I asked about him on two threads before but nobody offered their opinion. I notice the workmanlike winner of the maiden he ran in at Yarmout(seelo) was given 77 ...
I agree it was a very promising performance and he falls into that "could be anything" category.
Personally I would have two reservations at the moment. One is that the ground was pretty soft that day at Nottingham and he clearly loved it judging by his action. Compare him to the odds on favourite who was running on the spot by the furlong pole and clearly hated the ground. As we all know soft ground can produce flattering winning margins.
Secondly I wouldnt be 100% sure that he would appreciate much more than 10 furlongs. I know Linda's Lad liked a trip but he was by Saddlers Wells rather than Dansili and therefore more stamina laden on that side.
Having said that I liked him and look forward to his return. As you rightly said, Henry likes that conditions race at Newbury that Light Shift won a few years ago or there is one at Epsom that he used for Midday.
He won't be getting my AP money at this stage and I think that the stable may have a few more arrows to fire yet anyway!
