I am of the view that they are one of the trading opportunities of the season and maybe even in the sort term. A back at 20/1 may well be available after 5.00pm on Saturday as a lay at 12 or less. Looking at the results in that league this season, there is very evidently nothing much between the top 4 or 5 but to have one of the better teams of the top 4 or 5 at a price more than twice as big as the others is madness. Good luck to you anyway. (it was a disgrace you were allowed to leave the England job by the way). |

I am a Brechin fan,and always have good games against the Loons.
I respect your tip,but Brechin will be higher at the end of the season |

Huggy it should be a decent game at Glebe Park on Saturday.
If Brechin win that one you may end up being right. However a draw or better for Forfar and I'm afraid its bad news for your lot. |

Well Huggy
I saw the game on Saturday. Forfar had 2 players out with suspensions, Iain Campbell the left back, and Ross Campbell their top scorer from last year. They were also without Sellars and Tulloch - recovering from injury. It was a cracking game for a nil/nil, with I have to say Brechin having a couple fo decent chances but mainly Forfar outplaying them with their passing game for most of the match especially the second half. I am pretty sure Forfar will finish above Brechin now I have seen them both, and the odds available on Frfar are just plain daft. Brechin at 7/1 and Forfar 25's. In the last 5 games, Forfar have won 3 including gubbing livingstone, dran 2 - one away at Brechin (better team) and 1 when they were so appallingly refereed that they were reduced to 9 men after 30 minutes and still ended up pressing for the win at the end. They should be 12/1 not 25's. |

So are you going in to back them again?
|
|
By:
I am backer at 25/1 yes - its too long a price.
We have to wait a couple of weeks as its the cup next Saturday, but Forfar are going to get better the season progresses and the men (some key men too) get fit. |

cot,
I haven't a clue about Scot Div 2 but just looking at the prices there only appear to be 6 genuine runners. The real rick is the place terms isn't it? 25/1 with that crucial 3rd place looks very fair. You have convinced me - I'm in too. ![]() |

headmaster 25-1 sidsand viktor..1/3 odds 2places
billies 20-1 3places 1/5 the odds |
|
By:
That's incorrect, VC is 25/1, 3 places 1/5th odds.
Lads are 12/1, they know. |

yes I saw Forfar were 12/1 with Ladbrokes. I suppose the magicswine have more people employed to keep their books right on poxy events like Scottish Div 2 football than the firms giving money away at 25/1.
