Interesting looking race tomorrow.  Really like the chances of Cornas, receiving lumps of weight like last year and won well at Limerick last time out, so I'd expect a huge race from him.

For me the interesting entries are Chaninbar and Tchico Polos.  any thoughts?

You would have to say if Somersby target is the Queen Mother Champion Chase then he,s got to take this, receiving 17lbs from Twist Magic.

Cornas for me, will be fit, c&d winner, and Geraghty should close the gap of 3lb out the handicap.

I'm a Somersby fan, but 2m at top level could be on the short side.

think cornas has every chance. would prefer if daryl jacob rode though, knows the horse and that

plus the horse would then carry two lbs less

i thought the plan for somersby was to race over further than 2 miles this season? backed him in the arkle and thought he'd want further that day. That said I thought the world of him last season, so maybe I shouldn't change my colours just yet given how he performed at the beginning of last season.....

The fact that chaninbar has had an impressive run this season, and is returning to this shorter trip is interesting. He seems to be a first or last kind of character and it wouldn't surprise me to see him come close.

certainly looks a trickier contest than first thought

The race is over 2m 1f on a stiff track,on slowish ground with plenty of pace assured.

If you liked Somersby last season then hard to not fancy him tomorrow given the above.

If he's as good as he looked before the Aintree performance then he should win shouldn't he?.And it would be criminal of the trainer not to have him straight enough to win given the prize money on offer.

The interesting horse in this race is Imsingingtheblues. Looked to be a big threat to Monets Garden when falling lto and along with Cornas will have an edge in fitness over the opposition. Will probably be overlooked by the majority of punters which means we should get a decent price.

i think somersby is on a very fair mark despite being an obvious cornas and nick williams fan.
