Anyone know why the price has just halved?

Have a look in the formbook and the answer will be who gives a f**k.

Treasure Beach's trainer Aidan O'Brien has left in Master Of Hounds and Seville but jockey bookings had yet to be confirmed at 10.45am.

It wouldn't suprise me if it was more racing post lies. If the bookies tell them to report any old market move they will do it.

Here's a question for people who will rubbish my comment i just put up there. Why would there be 'big money' for a horse who for in Workforces case didn't even run(2000gs) ?

Interesting take on the formbook, do you not see a progressive horse who was very well fancied to beat the Dewhurst second (who got a soft lead).

Roderic O'Connor was 5 lengths behind Dunboyne Express and Master Of Hounds in their maiden. One went on to finish second in said maiden after giving a soft lead and the other won a Group 3 by 8 lengths. Only one really progressive horse there.

yeah it looks like MoH for defs, according to ATR entries as well, explains the market move anyway.

Think you'll find that Roderick got the soft lead the the maiden Master Of Hounds was second in on his third start. in fact the Racing Post opened with this line to describe the farce:

This was one of the more blatant pieces of larceny one could wish to see and on another day every other rider in the race bar the winner might have found themselves in front of the stewards.

In hindsight that was probably a top class effort from M of H trying to run down a 120 horse loose on a 10 length lead...

Top class? You are obviously easily pleased One Dreamer. A horse with some potential for sure - but he will have to improve markedly on anything he has done so far to win this. You can't credit him with all of the improvement that ROC showed in the Dewhurst - and the 3rd in the Curragh race has hardly done wonders for the form.

The fact Murtagh rides probably isn't that significant either - you can see from the prices he has been sent off (relative to ROC) that he is probably an overrated 'workhorse'. That or there is the possibility that they are just trying to get a price about the horse they really fancy? Seville wouldn't be the first supposed Ballydoyle 2nd string to win this race, would he?

He certainly wasn't a 120 horse in that race. They left plenty of room for improvement for him, and those of us who have backed Master of Hounds will be hoping they left a similar amount of potential improvement for him.
