Was quite impressed with this Brian Meehan colt in winning at Newmarket last week. Does anyone know his future plans? Liked the way he ran up the hill and is improving at a rapid rate. Classic potential? Not in any lists.

I too was very impressed.

Breeding would suggest a mile to ten furlongs (his two half sisters ran between 6f and 9f but he has a little more stamina through the sire) so don't think they'd go for the English Derby. Though I guess they might try the French.

I think I read in the Post that they may send him to the Criterium de Saint Cloud.

An exciting prospect.

Sorry. Just saw this on the RP site:

"He may run in either the Criterium du Saint-Cloud or the Breeders´ Cup Juvenile Turf and, as his dam was successful at up to 1m6f, he should have little trouble staying middle distances next year."

Not so sure about the breeding analysis myself but the targets look like good ones.
