I can't think of any horses of the top of my head that will take on the big boys.

Stable in decline after Inglis Drever, Tidal Bay, No refuge etc??

they got QUWETWO for novice chases along with ON RAGLAN ROAD plus clssy flat racer PROSPECT WELLS  going jumping and ON HIS OWN who is expected to do well also.but they need star dont they tidal bays getting on now hes meant to have some lovely unraced horses to come out and the hit sales are coming up so you would expect to see some decent buys there

Dont write of Tidal Bay yet, and i am sure theres lots of money to spend if the insurance for the inside job is through.

Wouldn't say stable is in decline, but certainly no real superstars at present. There are plenty of young horse coming through, think Wylie is concentrating on his breeding operation rather than lots of big purchases.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Moon Indigo does this season, hopefully better than Washington Irving!

Moon Indigo not on the same planet as Washington Irving, wasn't 4th in the Derby for starters

Very true Ben, but as WI has proved, flat form does not always translate to jumps.

Washington Irving surely will improve to be a real Champion Hurdle contender. 4th in a Derby FFS Confused

i dont think moon indigo will be up to much he had no real excuses at hexham on his debut might win a small race but nothing bigger.they brought a abtch of foals a few years back some off them could have run last season but he gave them more time i know he thinks the world of a couple of them VENITZIA and COLORADO KID are apparently pretty smart

Dove Hill could be an interesting horse to follow this season. Entered at Kelso on Saturday.

QUWETWO is having problems wont be seen this year. Pity he seems to be a bit of a hard one to get right.

As he is on this thread I may aswell mention that Alverado was my Johnson horse to follow this season. Would have won with even more in hand the other day without his mistake at the last whilst im not sure if he will be top class i think he will win a fair few over fences this season.

Alvarado, do you know the stable well? Interested to hear any targets for Companero this season, thinking soft ground Welsh National would be ideal myself?
