If he runs a shocker in the Arc will it seriously harm his value at stud? In other words is the decision to run him basically a tip in itself in that they expect a top performance?

Surely he would be sent to stud now if there was a real risk of damaging his reputation further?

I would imagine that unless he wins he'll be back as a 4 year old.

He already has a fragile reputation cashin, being by Kings Best he is going to have very little appeal over here he is from a very staying family it is more of the case they have nothing to loose in running him, on the other hand KB has done well in Japan so I expect to hear the news he has like Harbinger been sold to Japan at the end of season.

Thanks guys. So I shouldnt read too much into the fact they are taking their chance and lining up in the arc then? Its not that great a risk in terms of the stud value?

I'd say it is a risk.

A lot of people will already be of the view that he was a one race wonder , and that will be more widespread if he finishes down the field on Sunday .
