Yeah i said the same things as has A_T i think it was. He'd be off to another trainer if it was me as well.

I'd be livid if I owned this horse. Fit all season yet no entry in Sussex, Moulin, Marois or QEII. Instead sent on a wild goose chase to the York International a trip he was never going to stay. Seems like the whole season for the stable has revolved around making Canford a superstar and attempting to boost Paco Boy's credentials. And god forbid the son-in-law has to choose which horse to ride in a big race. Suspect DT's owner has been told no point taken on Canford as he's too good but DT has beaten him twice. Maybe the owner has been compensated but who knows?
I said in another thread the antics of this stable have totally ruined the mile division this year. |

Not only that, they said they'd have no qualms with sending him over 10f again as apparently he wasn't right at York, as opposed to the trip being the reason he got thumped.

The reason he's not in the Challenge Stakes is they want to keep that for Paco Boy who is in the Foret but that looks like coming up soft.
Edit: DT is in the Challenge Stakes according to the Racing Post so I don't know what that Hannon quote is all about. Also I'm not convinced CC will be trained as a 4 year old despite what we've been told. |

If coolmore now own him will he be trained at Hannons?

Coolmore are clearly pulling the strings as there's no way Hannon would have mentioned Canford Cliffs and Breeders Cup in the same sentence in a million years before they came along. I don't think he will go there though. I see RVW doing the mile and maybe Blanco going for the classic.
