I know nothing about this horse, except the trainer won the competitive Victoria Cup with DANDY BOY earlier in the season...

Its got a good draw... (6), nice weight and worth considering, normally Donoghue is on him, but 2nd jockey instead so not sure and also Irish have not won this, so some negatives there, but  would be interesting to hear trainers thoughts on this on Saturday...

I have already backed him at 33s... thought it will be a lot shorter on the day....

Anyone got any thoughts on this? or am I throwing my money?

think he might need the ground a bit faster. but at 33/1 he's not the worst outsider you could back. definitely a good prize in him somewhere off this mark.

I went on RUK website to have a look at this when it won under Spencer and won like it had plenty in hand that day. Cam with a typical Spencer last to first ride. It would have to be a lot better than that mark mind you to win this but the trainer has previous in big handicaps over here and along with Redford who I think is extremely well handicapped are my two against the field.

Just noticed he has got Empirico in the Bronze Cup today. Could be worth a little e/w double.
