won't run again imo, stringing it out to make it look like they want to get him back, commercially think they'd rather retire him with his 2yo achievements dominating his CV rather than a load of 3/4yo flops on there diluting it

His 2yo form doesn`t look quite so good now, does it?

That's a valid point Giant Strides,if its all over doubt he will ever be commercial as a flat stallion,if they do stand him off the back of what he's done he would have to be cheap.

SNA holds an entry in the Diamond Stakes at Dundalk on 1 October (presumably as a prep for either the Champion Stakes or the Breeders Cup).

As for his two-year-old form, it's not that bad really.  Al Zir, beaten 6¼ lengths by SNA in the Racing Post Trophy, was beaten by exactly the same margin in the 2000 Guineas.  It's a shame that neither SNA nor Elusive Pimpernel has run since the Guineas.  The RPT fourth and fifth haven't exactly set the world alight this season, but the sixth (Shakespearean) has won a Group 2 over 7f.

to my mind Elusive Pimpernel is a rock solid G2 hore and on the cusp of a G1 horse. His run in the Guinease from a low draw, like Canfrd Cliffs, was a great effort.

if he is running at the all weather at dundalk it hints hes going to breeders cup but isnt all weather and dirt still completly different surfaces.

He was to have worked after racing at the Curragh yesterday.

I saw O'Brien put many through their paces but whether SNA took up the option I do not know.

Lets hope it does so we can recover the  ante post bets sadly gone adrift. Was it the quiet one who said this is a Superstar or was it Johny M. Doncaster Post win left me speechless. Better than Sea Bird, Grundy, The Minstrel(4 lovely white hocks)Dancing Brave(minus G Starkey).
