AIDAN O'BRIEN confirmed to the Racing Post on Wednesday that all is well with Fame And Glory, and that his no-show for Sunday's Prix Foy at Longchamp was simply a result of a "change of plan".
Having missed the Tattersalls Millions Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown last weekend, this weekend's Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe trial represented another warm-up opportunity for the big race on October 3. O'Brien said: "There has been a slight change of plan for Fame And Glory. We have decided he will go straight for the Arc and the horse is well." |

AIDAN O'BRIEN confirmed to the Racing Post on Wednesday that all is well with Fame And Glory, and that his no-show for Sunday's Prix Foy at Longchamp was simply a result of a "change of plan". RELATED LINKS Arc betting Cesarewitch betting Having missed the Tattersalls Millions Irish Champion Stakes at Leopardstown last weekend, this weekend's Qatar Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe trial represented another warm-up opportunity for the big race on October 3. However, Fame And Glory was not amongthe forfeits for the Foy, prompting Coral, Blue Square and 888sport to make Behkabad favourite forthe Arc. Nearly all firms eased Fame And Glory, but Ladbrokes kept him at 3-1 and Behkabad at 6-1. O'Brien said: "There has beena slight change of plan for Fame And Glory. We have decided he will go straight for the Arc and the horse is well." Coral made Behkabad 9-2 favourite (from 11-2), while Victor Chandler went the same price (from 6). William Hilland Paddy Power quote 5-1 (from 6). The Jean-Claude Rouget-trained Behkabad was not the only market mover for the Arc on Wednesday, as Planteur was cut to 8-1 (from 10) by VC and Paddy Power, and Ladbrokes St Leger favourite Rewilding was cut to 16-1 (from 20) by Hills and to just 12-1 (from 16) by VC. In other price changes on Wednesday, Universal Truth was a springer for the Totesport.com Cesarewitch at Newmarket on October 16. Aye he was spoofing on the 2000 Guineas market also I believe with another chap on here. Put it this way, if F&G wins the Arc it must be a sh1t Arc.

Think it was also a Balydoyle none runner so he is better named Ballydoyle boy rather than Essex boy.

sorry chaps but what exactly have i done, apart from question if we believe what the balydole set up say.
|

Ladcrooks still have the horse in at 3/1 and are longest price about Behkabad, Planteur, Workforce, Sariska and Byword. If anyone is worth watching as far as Ballydoyle is concerned, it is them.Interestingly, they are not pricing up Cape Blanco.......or St Nicholas Abbey.

graeme83, no i do not take my own odds. From a betting point of view, I would be glad to see fame and glory out of the race.I for one, believe all is not as it sould be with fame and glory.
