I'm hoping Sohraab gets in, he needs about 7 to come out.

He came back to form with a bang last time at Sandown.

With rain this morning and more forecast for tomorrow I can see Hogmaneigh being gambled into single figures from the general 14/1 at present.

Well handicapped on old form, won the Portland in 2008 off a mark of 100 and runs here off 94. Keiren Fallon booked to ride for a gambling stable that he does well for, the horse arrives here fresh after one run earlier in the season on unsuitable going.

Whether it wins or not the 14's isn't going to last.

Will also have a saver on Poet's Place granted suitably wet ground conditions.

I can dogmatically tell you that there's nothing in it up to today!
