1 more run then onto Kentucky to avenge his dad in the BREEDERS CUP CLASSIC imo.

Devasting stuff at Leopardstown.

RUTHLESS.

Lovely pedigree, lightly raced, third run off a break. Could be a real Wild Card in the Classic.

His sire and damsire both stand in Kentucky too! This horse will end up stateside.

would it get in the classic? Champion stakes looks a more likely next step I'd have thought. would love to see it in the classic though.

It could run in both just like Twice Over.

that might actually be good for him. Let him get in a war and make him battled hardened right before a tilt at the classic.

cos he has to be that way to hold off Looking At Lucky, Blame and Zenyata.

I'm guessing he won't be coming here next week,I'd backed him at about 400 for a point, and have laid him back for 4 points. Thought he quickened really well there today and bound to improve plenty more.

Agree, could be the type of horse that is worth throwing blindly at the Classic. The multiple Group One winning colt off the back of one hard race too many clearly hasn't worked so why not take a chance with Await The Dawn who's lightly raced, improving and does look suited to the race on breeding.

Guess he might be the one now.

Dont think RVW is good enough plus he's a galileo and dont think they'll risk another one on dirt. same with cape blanco..aidan said today if he goes then he'll run in the Turf only. And something seems wrong with Fame and Glory in the Arc market now :o

It would seem I was 1 year too soon.

What do you guys think now?

Did grind it out today...got an engine on him. Aidan's got an angle on the US 3yr olds thanks to Master of Hounds. Older horses dont look anything special...Stephen Foster tonight at Churchill should tell us more about them but I really dont think theres anything to be scared of.

I've no idea if they will go Elg, it is a long way off. All I know is Aidan Obrien has a shocking strike rate in the states for all the good horses he sends there, and AWD will be dipping his toe into Group1 company before the Arc/Breeders Cup meeting in October.

On a slightly different tack, who do you guys think Ballydoyle will use as their Jocks Stateside? Will they go with US based riders?

should do...they seem to have Gareth Gomez under their wing.
