No i thought not. So why should Dick Turpin ?...both are said to be fortunate enough to get the mile on breeding and both get the mile well. They are even refusing to rule out a crack at 10f again, which in my book just isn't right and i can't help but feel all the stops are being pulled out for Canford Cliffs benefit. If Dick turpin was trained up for the QEII he'd have had a chance given how he's ran in 8f contests thus far. He may not be as fashionable or as hyped, but his record at a mile is right up there with anyones this season.

Nope, already messed Dick Turpin up running him over 10f. Neither Hannon nor Hughes have intimated that they think he wants 10f. Don't mistake a turn of foot at the end of the race for staying on strongly imo.

If I owned Dick Turpin I would not be very happy. Twice he's beaten Canford but has been left out of the top mile races while CC has run. I'd insist on him running in the QEII. The International run was a waste - he was never going to stay an extended 10f - just hope it hasn't taken the edge of him. The Prix Jean Prat performance was hugely impressive.
