dont think they have 1 good enough to run in the arc
|
|
By:
They didn't even have a runner in the Oaks and nothing was good enough in the Derby. I don't see any Arc horses just now.

Simon De Montfort

Simon De Montfort won't win the arc, well not on this planet anyway.

Not winning won't stop him running.

Rewilding?
Ben, I hope you are right. I've backed him to win tomorrow. I think he's loads of potential. |

Arc can produce funny results. Who would have thought Marienbard was good enough to win it?
|
|
By:
They do have the third from last year's Arc. Although he doesn't look the same horse since he's left Fabre. I wouldn't be surprised if Simon De Monfort regressed as well.

Buzzword has a Marienbard feel to it.
messed around with trip and tactics. just let him roll last time and his stamina came to the fore. he's got it in spades. |

Cavalry leads Arc charge
(UKPA) – 4 days ago Cavalryman is set to spearhead Godolphin's hopes of a third Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe a week on Sunday. Cavalryman was trained by Andre Fabre last season and has taken time to show any signs of life. There was some encouragement with a fourth place in the Juddmonte International but he disappointed as favourite when only third in the Grosser Mercedes-Benz Preis von Baden. "Cavalryman will run in the big race," said trainer Saeed bin Suroor, who will be seeking his fourth win in the race following Lammtarra (1995), Sakhee (2001) and Marienbard (2002). "He was third last year and he's in great form, we're very happy." Copyright © 2010 The Press Association. All rights reserved. Why nothing in the Racing Post? |
