SNOW FAIRY- St Leger ? ? ? ?

she could well be good enough but i dont see her going down that route myself..stamina is also a question.

She doesn't need to go down that route.

1) She has had only 3 races this season.

2) She has Group 1 winning form over 1.4 twice.

3) Yorkshire Oaks looks a penalty kick.

4) Why not a stab at the Arc and then off to be covered by Sea The Stars!!

dunlop has his heart set on america and he hasnt made too many bad calls yet with the filly.if she goes there they will have to keep her nice and fresh.

This years middle distance fillies (Snow Fairy apart) are a bad bunch and she would have no chance against the 3 y.o colts and older horses. Dunlop will keep her to fillies races imo with the Filly & Mare Turf uppermost in his mind.

I hardly see the Yorkshire Oaks as a penalty kick - depends if Sariska, Dar re Mi, Daryakana etc turn up.

The tentative plan is for York then Donny then off to the USA.

It would be my plan too. I don't see much in the Leger that is too frightening. York is certainly not a penalty kick, although she would be decent favourite. However the Yorkshire Oaks looks like one of the races of the season to me, with possibly Rosanara, Dar Re Me, Sariska and Midday meeting her. I can't wait - what a race!

Personally I think Meeznah would beat her over the Leger distance, and of those who ran in the Irish oaks would be most likely to benefit from the extra 2 and 1/2 furlongs.

More bookies have now priced her up for the race- is this indicative she has a chance of making the race, or that they all want a piece of the money from punters they will mop up by her not turning up ??????????????????????????? [;)]
