Thought I would start an early thread to discuss the second best chase of the jumping season.
Can Kauto win another or is it time he passes the crown on to an up and comint type.

Long Runs race IMO. Hopefully BJG rides it.
Couldnt have Long Run with Waley-Cohen....noticed he was 6m 15 in Feltham and Kauto 6m 7 secs on sameday last year.
Yeah but they dawdled and he pulled for 2 miles. The KG was strongly run, hence the lot of them were legless, apart from of course the Star. I've had a dabble on Long Run, and Planet of Sound.
Would his jumping hold up until real testing gallop with Sam up ?
Just cant have it with the jock on board. His old man should get few cheap ones for him to ride until competent enough to mix it in Grade chases against AP/Ruby/BJG.

Even Sam won't be able to stop Le Machine. Will be a procession for Long Run 
If Kauto turns up 80% fit and there's no reason he shouldnt, he'll win by a procession again.
i think this will be kautos main aim,as he will def not be winning the gold cup.
kauto pi ss up on way to gold cup glory. old or not hes still a better horse than that lot
Certainly can't see Planet of Sound and Nacarat as possible winners.
3132 waley cohen has been riding for years hes never going to be up to it . time to step aside and let a topjockey ride longrun. end of.
