Please discuss. Known in racing circles as a shrewd trainer and places his horses very well. For the life of me i can't understand where this reputation came from (bar the Vetch Gamble)!. His form figures speaks volumes and never seems to get a horse to the 90's + with the odd exceptional sprinter. Never excels bar crap all weather meetings in Kempton and Wolverhampton...

STUART Williams has recorded well over 300 winners since becoming a licensed racehorse trainer in 1994.
The 2009 season has seen Diomed Stables record over 40 winners and yet again improving on the previous seasons score.
Stuart has enjoyed success at some of racing’s biggest fixtures – including Derby Day, Cambridgeshire meeting, Ebor meeting and Eclipse day – establishing himself an outstanding reputation for success from inexpensive horses. A few of which we have listed below:
Hogmaneigh was purchased by Stuart for £18,000 and went on to win the Vodafone Dash on Derby Day and also won the valuable Portland Handicap at the Doncaster St Leger meeting.
Prince Cyrano was purchased for £30,000 and won the Doncaster Breeze up sales race by 6 lengths and was beaten a short head in the Prix d'Arenberg G3.
Lunar Leo was bought for £2,500 and won a major handicap at Sandown. Later on in the season he was campaigned for the Buckingham Place Stakes at Royal Ascot where he came agonizingly close when finishing second.
Over the years Stuart has trained many high-profile horses. The magnificent stayer Sendintank notched up no less than 10 wins during 2004 (equaling the record number of handicap wins in a season) . The following year he won the prestigious Mallard Handicap at Doncaster.
Concer Un also reached double figures and won back to back victories in the Bradford & Bingley Handicap at the York Ebor Meeting and also broke the track record.
Stuart has been involved in racing since he was a child. His father rode as a jockey, and for many years Stuart hoped to follow in his footsteps and race ride.
After growing too tall Stuart worked for several trainers in Newmarket, including Ron Sheather and Alex Scott, as well as Bart ****s in Australia, and has even spent time working in France and Norway en route to becoming a trainer.
He took out a licence in 1993, training from Graham Lodge initially before moving to Trillium Place. His first winner was Greenback at Lingfield on March 5th 1993, and he has since gone on to train winners at all the Flat racecourses in Britain.

Can somebody enlighten me when he last landed a "touch"
Don't know if this one qualifies. A painful result for me as I was on the second.

ORANGELEG hadn´t been seen since August and was one of the least exposed in the line-up. [b]Nicely backed, he settled better than most off the steady early gallop and quickened up well in the straight to win with a fair degree of ease. Clearly ahead of the handicapper, he looks capable of defying a rise in the weights.[/b]

There probably isn't a better operator holding a license.
No bullsh#t,well assessed horses placed right. Lacks pr which has always held him back.
