As good a chance as any ben. I originally liked Nicconi, but a tough 6 might not suit. I also like Marchand D'or, but i've went for Kingsgate Native because he goes, and Serious Attitude because i think she's a potential star, and her odds were massive which probably points to her swerving the race.

Alverta's massively overpriced in this Ben - good form at 6/7f and her trainer near enough said she was only 65% fit for her run at Ascot last time out, a few good works required but her current odds of 40/1 are well wide of the mark.

This Denman is definitely quick enough. I don't like his chances on a straight track, first time up with how the race will be run. If he runs, of course, considering it's Godolphin.

ELG, I think you have a point there. In the Racing Victoria stewards report after the Flemington disaster in the Australian Guineas it was reported he had the "thumps."

What do we make of Arcano please?

Spent the early part of his career trained at Flemington where he would have had plenty of jump-outs/trials down the straight there, doubt the straight at Newmarket will be any issue for him.

Though it has been a bit of a graveyard for Aussie gallopers in the past.

40/1 is unders, she is a good honest listed class mare at best, no idea what she is doing over there.
