The draw on the straight course is more pronounced with soft ground over sprint distances.
If you are at The Curragh take a look at the flags. If they are fluttering straight then there is significant wind. If the wind is sideways to the field then consider the horses drawn "downwind" as they will be getting cover. I once picked a 14/1 winner on that alone. |
