I fancy the chances of Doncaster Rover

doncaster rovers form with main aim is dubious, listed beast at best

I backed Red Jazz last time and only just beaten so have to follow it in again. Not sure about 3yo/4yo form yet though. If the 3yo's are any good then he looks a good thing as he is not far off the best at 7f.

Red Jazz and Mabait ran in poor Group 3s LTO. The drop in trip will suit Mabait and he has had more time to recover. This offsets the couple of pounds in hand Red Jazz has. Betting looks about right to me.

It will be blanket finish with Doncaster Rover in the mix.

The Jersey is rarely a weak race and RJ guineas form should be good enough for this race, 10 days since his last race is a slight negative but a race over 7f shouldnt really bottom him this early in the season.

I thought Rainfall was impressive lto tbh. Only her third start and is 2/2 over 7f on decent ground.

Sorry.
I did not mean to use his last run as an excuse etc. beaten by a better horse on the day, etc. |

Tanya Stephenson tipped the winner. Her theory being all those at the front of the market had had hard races this season and Primo was fresh. Still some effort from the winner though.
