Spirit River for me as well although we will probably have to endure the usual NH "will he wont he" routine about his festival target. With the plethora of decent 2 mile novice hurdlers at his disposal last year it may be tough to identify his Arkle contender(s).

I will still probably invest/waste a few quid on him for the race Laugh

Wymott of Donald McCains ! Really really like this one. Think he could be a bit special over fences.

Alfie Sherrin is seriously hard to train and needs a lot of time between races. The Pertemps came too soon after his Newbury win. Got so much class and is a seriously good looking horse, always going to be a chaser.

i agree td . i remeber findlay saying beshabar is the rsa horse for next year but imo alfie is different class and is a future gold cup winner

yeah, agree dan. just depends if his difficulty to train gets in the way, could just hold him back from getting to the top.

is that the reason nicholls gave. i know hes been hard to train but ive never heard an excuse. i lumped on him that day . he was ridiculously impressive the race before.

Reve de sivola has got to be of interest if sent chasing.

Defo Time For Rupert for me. Spoke to the trainer earlier this week and he is mad about him.
