For him Sad

But he'll be back next year and he'll go on and win it.

Why have Aiden's horses been running so poorly?

I am not of the view that Steinbeck, SNA, RVW and the rest are suddenly bad horses, but they have all run miles below form.

Has the stable got a bug or something?

AOA ran well, but he is one of a number that have mainly just run poorly.

It will be a long season for you I fear if things don't perk up a bit soon.

I've started thinking along similar lines...

End of last year it looked like they'd sweep all before in the 3yo division and it just hasn't happened; they've been particularly poor since the Derby weekend, most not even looking like winning and being thoroughly eclipsed by Darley-bred horses.

Have we a sea change on our hands or is it a blip?

We all remember 2004 and poor old Spencer, I guess it just doesn't happen every year.

FWIW the older horses seem fine and the 2yo's have been ok early doors...

Heartbroken for Age of Aquarius?
The best horse won on that day.

I think it's too early to call it a sea change, Ballydoyle are struggling at the moment though.

Still can't see the dry spell lasting the rest of the season though, Aidan will turn it around.

Hopefully this trend will be broken by Starspangledbanner in the Jubilee, surely O'Brien isn't going bad enough to have send this one backwards...
