Speaking of doing something stupid I can't believe that they have actually gone and taken Alverta all the way across to the other side of the world to cop a belting.

I'm not sure what the record of mares in the race is like but i'm guessing it would take a very good one and she wouldnt be in the top 20 mares down here let alone in the world.

Add in the fact that she was reported to travel poorly and we have ourselves a free lay imo...
