Does anyone else fancy this beast for the Ascot Gold Cup ?

I backed him two weeks ago after he won in France. You could say he got the benefit of genius ride from Dettori, but he was not stopping at the end and won cosily in the end. I think there is more to come and he rode it that way.

The horse itself has always been the apple of Saeed's eye, and their two previous winners of that race both went on to place in the GC on their next run.

The ground would be a concern, but Ascot GF is not like HQ GF, and it tends to be a place where you can ''get away with it''. KW has also won on GF when beating Tactic and ran pretty well to finish 2nd in the St Leger on genuine GF.

Bin Suroor is starting to find the winners enclosure with regularity now so surprised to see him trading at 14/1 on here, 5pts bigger than the dog Kasbah Bliss.

Yeah I wouldn't disagree. Just cant have him over here in England, not in G1 company anyway.

It is shaping up to be quite competitve.

Crisford has said Dettoir ''is likely'' to ride KW ahead of Darley Sun.

Prefer Darley Sun as godolphin's best chance - out and out stayer - will relish the trip.

Yeah think Darley Sun is a much better proposition than Kite Wood. Also would like Holberg to go for the Gold Cup instead of the Hardwicke - think he is class and is proven at the course...wasnt stopping either last year in the Queens Vase.

my my my sintonian, if memory serves me correctly u were waxing lyrical of Kasbah Bliss after he won a egg and spoon race at Haydock and he was ridiculously short over the jumps and now u don't like him here

well you need a new memory mate because I was all over Big Bucks for the world hurdle before Kasbah did his demolition job at Haydock. Posted on many threads on here.
