Sohraab could go close here

How about Indian Trail? I know he has a bad record at York but he seems best over 5F on GF ground and in big fields and according to the post about the draw he got the stall to be in in number 3. I agree Hamish has also got really good chance.

What won this last year VK?

Full page spreads will be back Trev, time escaped me once more on this race unfortunately!
FFT, I assume that's a retorical question. We both know it was Ishetoo at handsome odds ![]() I think only a small bet anyway in this race today as I fear my sentiment for Hamish deserving to win is clouding my judgement. |

Indeed it was VK, indeed it was

I'm going to take a chance on Kingdom of Light at 33/1. I was at Haydock last year when it impressively won a maiden. I got talking to Mr Johnsons assistant and he said that this horse was potentially one of the best flat horses they ever had. Obviously the horse hasn't built upon this thus far.............

Hamish and Sohraab for me. Hamish deserves it but all those near things don't help the rating, Sohraab is weighted to win now and will do so when I finally give up on him.

Good morning. two e/w shots here.
I've gone for Masta Plasta who is 2/2 over the C/D on g/f & isn't badly handicapped for a 20/1 shot. I also like Secret Millionaire where his 8th in the Tote trophy at Redcar reads pretty well with a number of subsequent runners from that race have done well at this level this year. A mark of 89 with a 3lb claim looks reasonable & plenty of potential for improvement. 33/1 looks way to big. However I couldn't pick my nose at the minute ! |

Hamish!
![]() He didn't let me down the old monkey! Just had a cheeky £20 on him, but it's some nice pocket money. FFT, won't be lazy in two weeks Three sprints to look at on Derby day. My head will be mashed. |
